SonaSea Dragon Bay complex, a 5-trillion VND resort complex will soon be constructed in Van Don, a rural district of Quang Ninh Province in the northeastern region of Viet Nam.

Real estate developer CEO Group put forward a plan of building the SonaSea Dragon Bay complex to The People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province.

According to the group’s proposal, the complex will have a total area of 94 hectares. Its facilities include a 5000-room hotel complex, water park, shopping malls and shop house, as well as docks and a public beach. The committee asked the group to complete its planning and submit a proposal for consideration.

The project is expected to be implemented in 4 years, from 2018 to 2022. With this investment plan, the CEO group will reinvigorate the biggest tourism project in Van Don, which has been made stagnant for the past 10 years.

The group also regards tourism as an important factor in attracting investors to the Quang Ninh Province, especially the special economic zone mechanism in the near future. As a result, the group chose Van Don to be the next strategic location in its investment and development in Viet Nam.
