Novaland Group named Southeast Asia’s real estate “Developer of the Year”

Vietnam’s Novaland Group won the “Developer of the Year” award at the 2019 Dot Property Southeast Asia Awards, a prestigious property industry honor in the region. At a ceremony in Bangkok, the company’s NovaWorld Phan Thiet project also won the award for the “Best Entertainment and Tourism Complex.”

The Dot Property Southeast Asia Awards recognizes the best regional real estate projects and also honors developers and companies in the real estate industry and honor new companies with initiatives to develop the market.

The Novaland Group was founded in 1992, and since that time has become one of the biggest and most prestigious developers in Vietnam and has developed more than 40 projects since that time.

Novaland has a corporate vision to become an integrated company that works in finance, property, tourism destination creation, and transportation infrastructure. The company plans to develop three segments – these include housing in Ho Chi Minh City, housing in HCMC’s neighboring provinces and hospitality developments. 

Currently the company is developing luxury housing projects in HCMC’s District 1 and District 2 areas and in a first for the company, an ecological urban area in the Dong Nai Province, Aqua City project.

In the hospitality segment, the group is developing four major projects. These are the NovaWorld Phan Thiet, the NovaHills Mui Ne Resort & and Villas in Binh Thuan, the NovaWorld Ho Tram in Ba Ria-Vung Tau and the NovaBeach Cam Ranh Resort Villas in Khanh Hoa Province.

Throughout this year, the company has received other accolades. At the Dot Property Viet Nam awards, Novaland won the Best Developer Vietnam award. It was also named one of the 10 winners of the 2019 Viet Nam Listed Company Awards for annual reports and was also named one of the five listed companies with the best sustainable development report.
