Property developer FLC Group announced its plan to build a FLC Beach & Golf Resort that is worth
440.5 million USD (equivalent to 10 trillion VND) in the central province of Nghe An’s Nghi Loc District. The group proposed its investment plans for the resort during a meeting with the Provincial People’s Committee.
According to FLC’s deputy general director Dang Tat Thang, the group had worked with foreign consultancy firms and carried out over 10 surveys at Tien Phong, Hai Don and Lu beaches in the province over the past three months.
Under the investment plan, the resort complex would stretch an area of 460 hectares. It would also accommodate 24 international standard constructions of 18-hole golf courses, a hotel and with 1,000-2,500 rooms, 1,000-seat international convention centre, villas, shop house, park, adventure sports and camping.
The investment plan is believed to bring a new appearance to Nghe An and help promote the provincial tourism
The FLC group plans to start construction of the complex in March 2018. They have asked for support from the People’s Committee, relevant agencies and departments in securing land clearance.
Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Xuan Duong, deputy secretary cum chairman of the
People’s Committee spoke highly of the investment plan. He expressed his confidence that it would give the province a new look and help boost the local tourism sector. He also assigned the relevant agencies to quickly complete procedures to ensure the project’s progress.
At the meeting, FLC also made a donation of 9 billion to support people affected by the recent storm in the province.
