The InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort on Phu Quoc Island in Kien Giang Province won three highly awards at the World Travel Awards 2018 event held in Lisbon, Portugal at the beginning of December.
The World Travel Awards were launched in 1993 and are one of the most prestigious travel events in the world. They awards are acknowledge as the “travel industry’s equivalent to the Oscar’s” by the Wall Street Journal, the awards are voted on by travel and tourism professionals and consumers across the globe.

The three awards that the InterContinental Phu Quoc won were (1) The World’s Leading New Family Resort; (2) The World’s Leading New Luxury Resort; and (3) The World’s Leading New MICE Resort.
