Real estate developer Vingroup successfully launched five new Vincom centers on December 24, Christmas Eve, increasing the number of Vingroup’s commercial centers in the country to 66.
These new centers include the Vincom Centre Metropolis (Hanoi), the Vincom Plaza Imperia (Hai Phong), the Vincom Plaza Quang Ngai, the Vincom Plaza Tay Ninh and the Vincom Plaza Ca Mau.
Each of the new Vincom shopping centers are designed, managed and operated in accordance with the standards of the Vincom system nationwide and include shopping, dining and entertainment zones. As with other Vincom centers, the new properties promise to become new meeting points that exhibit modern lifestyle and retail trends.
The launch of the five new Vincom centers close a successful 2018 for Vincom Retail JSC. In 2018, Vincom put into operation 20 new shopping centers across the country and brings the total number of establishments to 66.
The company now has a presence in 38 cities and provinces across the country. The total retail floor area of the whole system reached over 1.3 million sq.m, a year-on-year increase of 25.2%.
Vingroup has an ambitious target to operate 200 Vincom commercial centers by 2021 and plans to actively confirm its position as the leading commercial retailer in real estate market. In order to reach its ambitious 2021 goal, the company will have to open an average of 44 new locations each year for the next three-years so 2019 and beyond will be a busy time for the company as new projects open on an almost weekly basis.
